I CAN students participate and win places in the Tamil Nadu State Abacus competition

The Ideal Play Abacus  Centre (  IPA ) held their 6th Annual Tamil Nadu State level Abacus & Mental Arithmetic Competition recently. The event was  presided by the Chief Guest Sir. Dr.  M.  Ponnavaikko, Vice Chancellor,  SRM University.
Eleven (11)  students from I CAN Centre  participated  in the event held on December 02nd, 2012.

Two  I CAN students walked away with the 3rd prize and three  I CAN students secured the consolation prize.
The  results are as follows:

1.  M. Mohamed Abdul Dastagir       –     3rd Prize (trophy & certificate)

2.  N. Hassan Haroon                           –     3rd Prize (trophy & certificate)

3.  A.Z. Thofia                                        –    Consolation Prize (gold plated medal & certificate)

4.  K. Haaris Ahmed                              –    Consolation Prize gold plated medal & certificate)

5.  A. Aafrin                                           –   Consolation Prize (gold plated medal & certificate)

First from right : Abudul Dastagir in green shirt with white color  who has received 3rd prize standing next to the Director of IPA. Standing in the centre is Mrs. Sharada K. Sriram, Managing Director of IPA and  at the extreme left is Mr. P. Chithirai Selvan D.F.Tech (Film producer) Guest of Honour.

Hassan Haroon in red shirt  who has received 3rd prize is seen standing with guest of honour.
